I´ve decided to be modest with picture-posting, at least for now. I´ll pick a few goodies for each post but leave the rest to your imagination. Maybe it´s more fun that way, eh? Now, as a reader I would be protesting, pissed probably- I like pictures! I don´t buy books without them! Thát´s not really the truth... it just takes too much time to upload and I get impatient. A few things from the trip...

2 days previous to getting on the plane to Chile, we had a little blowout bash in Bellingham with the Cave Singers. This photo is just to illustrate my double chin so that we can do some good before and after comparisons throughout the trip. This was a greattttt night.

Beat down in Valparaiso after riding 100km and then though totally unncecessary I rode to the top of this hill. Incredible city.

I carried my bike up this hill. So much fun.

Heading toward the coast and it was getting dark, so I spotted an olive orchard, threw my bike and bags over this fence and had one of the greatest nights spending hours laying and looking at the stars, thinking, ´¨I´m on the other side of the world.¨

¨Moneneta,¨ my horse, who I forced to carry me around through the woods and down the beach for 4 hours. He loved it.

This was my camp on the beach in Pellehue, where I sat and boiled oysters. The Pacific was washing up 2 feet from the fire.

I found this campspot on my way up into the mountains. Pictures don´t do it justice. So good.

On my way back up the mountain after recovering my lost tent at the bottom.

This is the capsule. They did something with it recently, not sure what it was. It looked important so I stood in it. That is my face one minute after thinking I´d had my camera stolen by the g  that I asked to photo me.

It´s not much but it´s time for bed now. I´m an early riser these days and it´s been nice. Two big cups of coffee and some cereal before heading out to the fields. It´s supposed to be hot tommorow, so I´m already looking forward to a swim in the river. More next time.
